The unit was very clean, comfortable, including all the amenities that you would need for a home-stay or just to have relaxing rest after a long day exploring Nikko. We went in November and it gets really cold at night, the unit was quick to warm up and the sauna is definitely a plus. 10/10 Recommend for short or long stays.

Private Lodge 春夏秋冬 -SHIKI- encontra-se em Shibukawa, apenas a 2 km de Ishidan-gai Steps e 19 minutos a pé de Ikaho Ropeway. Amazing location, wonderful atmosphere! Very clean and well prepared, we were left snacks and drinks by the host and felt so excited and welcome there. Amazing value for money too, would definitely recommend staying here! The walk into the centre of town is about half an hour because of the very steep hill leading down to the house which you have to walk up to get out, but it is not any reason not to stay here if that’s feasible for you.

Surrounded by lush mountains in Minakami, Tenjin Lodge is just a 5-minute walk from Tenjindaira Snow Resort Ropeway and JR Doai Station. The lodge is very good, staffs were very friendly, informative and kind. The food was ultimate. Really worthy staying.
