Situated 23 km from Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum in Shingu, Koguchi Village by WhyKumano features accommodation with air conditioning and free WiFi. A buffet breakfast is available at the lodge. Extensive delicious homemade dinner and breakfast (the host actually cooked for everyone staying at the hostel). Clothes washer and drier included in the stay. I was alone at the bunk beds room (4 beds) so, in essence, I had a private room for a reasonable price.

I appreciated the provided tea & coffee bar, and enjoyed the relaxing Buddha room with tatami floors. I was sent a message by staff before my arrival, and they made sure my check-in was easy. I would love to book a longer stay next time to fully enjoy the space!

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park is situated in the Nara Park district of Nara, 3.3 km from Nara Station and 20 km from Iwafune Shrine. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. Everything was perfect and as expected. Neat and clean also very close to a lot of tourist stops.
