The cottage itself has everything a visitor needs — comfortable futons, good shower and bathroom, kitchen and, most importantly, a deck that looks out across the mountains to the sea. We visited on a hot August day, but the cottage enjoyed a fresh breeze that immediately cooled us off. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Great to have the deer at your window :) We received good information from the host before we arrived and after check out they kept our luggage and then ordered us a taxi to the train station when we picked our bags up. The room also had coffee, tea, creamer and more basic things so we did not have to bring it.

When you stay here, you’ll get both dinner and breakfast, which are both delicious! Bon was a fantastic and friendly hostel host! I definitely recommend staying at both this place and the WhyKumano hostel in Nachi Katsuura.
