Featuring air conditioning, this unit has a dressing room and a fireplace. The accommodation is non-smoking. Okazaki-san is a fantastic and hilarious host. The accommodation is roomy and exceptionally comfortable. The area around Ine-Ohara is one of the most beautiful parts of Japan! Highly recommended.

Incredible location and the serenity is real. A true Japanese experience, with a lovely village setting. Absolutely loved it. The smell of the amazing wood in the bath room was a highlight. All the things you need to cook and live for the few days you are there. Highly recommend. Worth the drive out of Kyoto to experience the city but stay away from the hustle and bustle.

The property is situated 2.5 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, 2.9 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and 3 km from Kyoto Imperial Palace. Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking chalet features a hot tub. The house is very nice, traditionally looking but spacious enough, with the bathtub kind of outdoors like an onsen. Location is right next to Nijo castle, easy to get to and from, and there is a convenient store and supermarket nearby. The host explained everything about the house and the place had everything that is to be needed.
