Our trip was focused on taking advantage of Aso's beautiful nature and the cottage's location allowed us to do this. It was also great to know that there was a large bath to use after the hike to soak our tired legs!

It's homely, nostalgic, restful, and unique. The owner could not have been more kind. He was there to receive us, help with our bags, and give us some pointers on where to roam in the valley.
