They had storage for ski equipment and luggage as well. they even had free postcards which I used to mail some postcards back home.

Sato-san was an amazing host who made my stay easier whenever he could (e.g. by dropping me off at Kutchan station for a bus to Rusutsu). The house is a classic ski lodge, and amazing that this option still exists when so come of Hirafu has come to be dominated by giant, sterile hotels. Hope Sato and Lodge Cowbell are there for years to come!
