Quirky and iconic, Noah Ark is set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, in Nyeri. The food and services were excellent and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The locates beautiful and the viewing decks were second to none. It was lovely to visit the Abadere Country Club for lunch and the journey to The Ark was also good. The bird feeding experience was also really lovely.

Nastanitev Rhino Watch Safarilodge se nahaja v mestu Mweiga in ponuja restavracijo, skupni salon, bar, vrt, teraso ter pogled na vrt. Rhino Watch Safari Lodge is an absolutely gorgeous facility with beautiful gardens that are perfectly maintained. Three property goes up a hill and we were on the top row in a chalet. This is essentially a small house with a veranda and a private garden. The most amazing thing was the perfect view of Mount Kenya, which is odd course called the shy mountain for good reason. We were there in February for 4 nights and we could get a clear view early in the morning. We didn't book full room and board, only with breakfast since we were exploring locally with our expert guide, Charles Mathenge. Charles was recommended by Rhino Watch and we used him for a long Safari. He is a naturalist by training and knows all the parks, animals, and plants by heart. Aberdares NP is close to the property and has a totally different climate from the plains - well worth it for gorgeous scenery, wild pigs and endangered monkeys. Rhino Watch is locally owned and the owners are very active with their own foundation to help the local community.
