Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Jerome the property manager tries real hard to make your stay enjoyable. It’s a very peaceful place in a safari type environment. The pool is relaxing and enjoyable. The food was great. And since you are in the middle of nowhere it’s good to plan on having their food. It’s true it’s Sri Lankan food, so be prepared for limited options, but the quality and experience is incredible! We loved it! We felt completely safe eating and drinking what they served us. Which we didn’t always feel that way at other places we stayed at. Very thankful for that! We would totally come back again! It’s worth it for a calm getaway.

This is in a good part of Tangalle, near some nice restaurants and the beach where the turtles hatch. Staff were super kind and provided us with some awesome breakfasts. There were lots of frogs in the bathroom, I liked it, but it might not be everyone's vibe.

The rooms are huge and immaculate. The whole place is peaceful and really added to the safari experience. There is a pool and restaurant. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka. The staff even surprised us with a birthday cake as both of us are celebrating birthdays on our trip. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. They had pre booked a safari for us and arranged everything. I highly recommend Koragaha Lodge when staying in Yala.

Highly recommend staying here for a calm and refreshing experience.

The setting deep in the Sri Lankan jungle is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel right at home. The houses were cozy and beautifully nestled in nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the most unforgettable moments was the amazing dinner we had on the rock, with a fire burning beside us under the open sky—it was truly magical and unlike anything I've experienced before. The traditional Sri Lankan meals were another highlight—so flavorful and made with love. If you're looking for a unique jungle experience with warm hospitality and unforgettable moments, this place is absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to return!
