The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The house is very spacious, clean, and modern—perfect for our group of 10 people. The food was delicious, all prepared by the staff, which made our experience even more relaxing. The pool was stunning, and being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. We spotted monkeys, peacocks, a variety of birds, and even a monitor lizard! Another great advantage is that the house is located just 15 minutes from the entrance of Yala Safari Park, making it super convenient for our excursions. Overall, it was a peaceful and unique getaway, and the staff’s care and attention made it truly memorable. Highly recommend this place!

The property is very comfortable and inviting, the room is spacious and clean, and the adjacent kitchen is well equipped. The garden is bustling with greenery and cute animals that keep their distance but are fun to observe (iguanas, squirrels, birds). There is direct access to a dreamy beach you can enjoy pretty much on your own except for the occasional tourist, fisherman or friendly stray dog. A fancy restaurant with a pool is right next door. Gayan and his wife are fantastic hosts, very caring, attentive and generous, and complete the great experience.

We had a wonderful stay and felt truly welcomed by the lovely family at Hazeloft. The breakfast was delicious, and the home-cooked dinners were absolutely amazing, full of local flavors and made with care. Such a peaceful place with genuine hospitality; we would definitely love to come back!
