The house is new, very clean, and beautifully designed. Ravi is a wonderful host and prepares absolutely delicious breakfasts. I couldn’t be happier with my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy.

We had a fantastic stay at The Traveller Kandy! The host was lovely, super friendly, and really easy to talk to – made us feel very welcome right away. The view from our room was absolutely incredible – we spent so much time just sitting on the balcony watching life go by in the valley below. It was the perfect peaceful escape. We’re really glad we chose a spot just a little out of town; it’s only a short PickMe ride into central Kandy, but far enough to avoid the busyness and crowds in the city center. We chatted with other travelers who regretted staying right in town and wished they’d picked somewhere quieter like this. The property has beautiful design and a calm, relaxing vibe overall. We stayed for 2 nights, which felt like more than enough for a quick visit to Kandy (especially if you’re doing a short trip and hitting the main sights). Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting stunning views, a friendly host, and a serene retreat away from the hustle!

We just simply loved every corner of this beutiful place. It's even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was like heaven for a yoga fan like me. I loved the morning yoga class in the beautiful open air classroom and then the meditation with Michael, he is a really nice person, who pays you so much attention. Krishan was also extremely friendly and helpful with all our requests and questions. The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. It was great to have such a nice experience for a few days during our holiday in Sri Lanka & we would like to say thank you for that❤️

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.
