One of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka! Beautiful teracce, spotless clean and modern rooms. Also, the price is great. We stayed in similar rooms in South which were 4x more expensive. It’s just 10min away from the centre and believe me - Kandy is much better outside the centre :D You can order your food there or just uber it. The host Harshana is wonderful. He has travelled/worked abroad and we had a lot to talk about. He helped with the visa extension too, very grateful for that. P.S. Don’t go trough the mountains, follow directions in booking.

We stayed 1 night at the cloud, the views were absolutely amazing inside the room and outside of the room. The owner was very attentive even before we arrived at the cloud, really spent his time engaging with you about the surroundings, the resort and the spices and tea in the area. He couldn’t have done enough for you. Always at the end of the phone and even when we had left he wanted to know if we had reached our next destination safely due to the weather conditions and still was available if we needed anything. We had dinner in the room which was a traditional Sri Lankan dinner which was very yummy. We had a little family of lizards in the room which was equally lovely to hear them, could see bats flying outside catching the flies which was nice to watch. In the morning we were greeted by a gang of monkeys which was funny to watch and get some great pictures as they come up to the windows.

El sitio está un poco apartado del centro, lo que te da tranquilidad y ayuda a desconectar, viviendo una experienxia única con la familia. Nunca habíamos vivido nada igual: hospitalidad, gratitud, amabilidad...nos hemos sentido en casa, nos han ayuado en todo lo que necesitábamos. Muy honestos y humildes. El lugar es increible, rodeado de naturaleza y paz. No podemos recomendar más este sitio...Nos vamos con el corazón encogido.

I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene, unforgettable experience.

Misty Hills Lakeview Lounge está ubicado en el centro de Kandy y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, vista a la ciudad, salón compartido y una terraza. We loved everything about our stay. The family that own it are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and varied every day. We had Ranjith drive us to our next location and he is a great driver and gave us lots of information along the way.
