It was the perfect place for us to spend 2 rainy days in Kandy. We were the only guests, so had the entire building for us. Punya and Ravi are very welcoming and friendly. Convenient location on a hill not far from the city, but quiet at night and with a nice view. Road is good, easy to drive in any weather. Interior is spacious, convenient and beautifully decorated. Included breakfast was delicious, also we had an access to kitchen facilities to cook our own meals and free use of washing machine.

The owner was also very involved and genuinely cared about guest comfort, which made us feel well looked after. Great service, beautiful surroundings, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. Such wonderful, kind people. I’d highly recommend Tedro Homestay to anyone looking for a clean, cozy stay with the friendliest hosts!

But the service is pro level. Clean rooms with attached bathrooms, comfortable beds, separate TV lounge, small kitchenette, full size refrigerator, some cutlery and crockery. Riverside view is the other key point here. i got to know that it's the longest river in Sri Lanka "Mahaweli River". I definitely reserve this hotel for my next visit to Sri Lanka. Compact but very comfortable. Out door sitting areas, stoned carved seats and bath tubs, swings, tree house nets. Kids loved it. We loved the peaceful nature and the calm environment.

We had Ranjith drive us to our next location and he is a great driver and gave us lots of information along the way.
