It was the perfect place for us to spend 2 rainy days in Kandy. We were the only guests, so had the entire building for us. Punya and Ravi are very welcoming and friendly. Convenient location on a hill not far from the city, but quiet at night and with a nice view. Road is good, easy to drive in any weather. Interior is spacious, convenient and beautifully decorated. Included breakfast was delicious, also we had an access to kitchen facilities to cook our own meals and free use of washing machine.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Sanatha Suwaya is set in Kandy in the Kandy District Region, 1.6 km from Kandy Royal Botanical Gardens. Ceylon Tea Museum is 2.9 km away. We loved our stay at Sanatha Suwaya ! The place is wonderful - super peaceful, intimate, and beautifully located in the hills. The architecture is refined, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, with stunning views of the vegetation. Michael was super welcoming, and we had great yoga and meditation sessions. An amazing place to rest & reconnect!

The Sky Blue Cabin is a wonderful place. Since I booked I got so much help. Sashikala is so nice and welcoming. Her food is the best you can have in Sri Lanka. She also cooked packed lunches and bought coffee for me. The place itself was so cozy, perfect for who loves nature. You can even swim in the pool and read books for free, in this little piece of heaven. I got a free foot treatment because of my long trip. When I got there the room smelled so nicely. Sashika is one of the kindest person I've ever met, always making sure I was fine, he helped me in so many ways. They both were so nice that I cried out of gratitude. It was impossible not to get fond of them. I'm gonna miss them and this place a lot!

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

Nice place with comfortable beds. it's a newly build hotel. Host gave us a free drop service to the railway station. calm and quite atmosphere. They have rooms with river view balconies.

Compact but very comfortable. Out door sitting areas, stoned carved seats and bath tubs, swings, tree house nets. Kids loved it. We loved the peaceful nature and the calm environment.
