Amazing hotel with lovely pool and great food. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. There were a lot of beautiful trees and flowers surrounding the pool. The bathrooms are external to each little bungalow which means u can see the trees when u shower. All very tastefully designed

Situated 3.5 km from Sigiriya Rock, Nimsara Lodge Sigiriya features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Beautiful clean cool rooms in the jungle, hardly a need for the fan even because the trees and plants keep the rooms so cool. Lovely friendly and helpful family, delicious breakfasts and dinners if you choose to eat there. I highly recommend the home cooked rice and curry, it’s so tasty and the mum will cook it as spicy as you like (I like it spicy and it was so yummy compared to the bland ‘tourist curry’ they serve in a lot of the restaurants in Sri Lanka’) The son even showed me around the area, it really felt like home. Highly recommend!

Set in Sigiriya, 2.2 km from Sigiriya Rock and 5.4 km from Pidurangala Rock, Sigiri Jungle Villa offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. Location: The villa is in a quiet place, off the main road so you only hear voices of the forest, rarely any cars or motors. The rooms: there are 4 rooms, 2 with fan and 2 with a/c. They are simple but spacious, the bathroom is simple but there's hot running water and it's clean. The beds are comfy and big. Breakfast: JUST GREAT. Big Srilankan breakfast, everyday a little different, prepared and served with care and attention. I just wish there was more fresh fruit for breakfast :) Proximity to attractions: walking distance to the entrance to Lion's Rock (10-15 min) and 15 min to the city. For other attractions we recommend to take the bikes and explore the surrounding, such as Pidurangala Rock for sunset (but go earlier and explore the whole area. There are ancient Buddhist gompas all around worth visiting and seeing before climbing up the rock), the big Buddha statue from where you can get directly to the entrance to Lion's Rock and the moat. Hospitality: I cannot appreciate this enough. Both Fernando and Niroshan are great, kind and extremely helpful. Loved the place, we can only recommend it.

Host were very friendly and caring, helped us to orginize a elephant safari trip ✨️ place was very clean and the most important very cosy and quite🌿🌴 We enjoyed to stay alot and would recommend it to everyone 💯🧡

Featuring garden views, Isanka Lion Lodge in Sigiriya features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

Clean room with stunning view of lions rock, great air conditioning. The breakfasts were delicious and different every morning. Had scooter or bike hire to get into town. The family were so lovely and cooked the best dinners. They even arranged a us a tuk tuk for a sunrise walk up Pidurangala Rock as well as a Safari. They also arranged us a drive to take us to our next location.
