But the most amazing thing was the hospitality of the owners. Kavindu and his mother were the kindest and most helpful people we have ever met. Not only did they help us arrange transportation, safaris, and other touristic activities, but they also helped us understand Sri Lankan culture at its core. They were very fun to chat with, and I can say that the breakfast was so tasty that I wish we could have had it more often. Long story short, you wouldn’t be disappointed with this beautiful, family-owned homestay!

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed with a bottle of water and a refreshing drink, a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. The guest house is family-run, and you can feel the warmth and care they put into making guests feel at home. All the family was very kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. They organized a tour for me to Pollonnaruwa at a very reasonable price, much more affordable than other options I found around. Breakfast was another highlight: plentiful, homemade, and prepared with fresh ingredients, I really enjoyed it! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and if you need a tuk-tuk or any other assistance, they are always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it’s a charming and welcoming place with excellent service. Highly recommended!

The host family is really friendly and hospitable. We asked them if they could provide us with dinner and breakfast and it exceeded our expectations. They provided us with a delicious home cooked meal and fresh fruits straight from their own garden. Also the rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had an amazing time and i can only recommend staying here.

The owner was incredibly helpful and advised us well on how make the most of our time in beautiful Sigiriya. He happily drove us wherever we needed to go in his tuk tuk which is a real advantage. While there are some parts of the hotel still being built, the rooms are very clean, cozy, and tastefully furnished. The location is within 200 meters walking distance to several restaurants, etc. and the Lion Rock park is only ~5 minutes away
