With mountain views, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, snack bar, garden and year-round outdoor pool. Wow, Sinharaja Rainforest was an unexpected highlight of our journey and the tour organised here was part of the reason. We saw lots of animals and heard lots of interesting facts about the flora and fauna. Other than the tour the pool is nice, the food is great and the accommodation is clean!

Located in a strategic area right between busy Ahangama and Midigama, right in front of the beach. I initially booked 2 nights and booked extra three nights, I’m definitely coming back! Featuring mountain views, Natural Mystic Sanctuary in Deniyaya features accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Complimentary WiFi is available. This place is truly a sanctuary of peace and pure nature. We arrived in the early afternoon, walking up a stone path, which was not a problem having light bags. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we immediately felt like being in paradise - the great valley views, forest, and small river. The room was super nice with wooden furniture, a comfy bed, a large outdoor lounge and a hammock. Later, we had a refreshing swim in the natural pool surrounded by forest. Dinner was great as well, really fresh and well combined local cuisine. In the night, we watched fireflies and bats buzzing around with sounds of frogs and crickets. It was nicely cool, and we even had the windows open to enjoy the sounds and have a breeze. Surprisingly, there were not many mosquitos due to the higher altitude. We highly recommend staying a few days more, which we will do when coming next time.

We loved our time at Sira Chalet in Mirissa! The location is unbeatable—literally right on the beach, so morning swims and sunset views were just steps away. The beach itself is gorgeous and never felt crowded. A huge thank-you to our host, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He even arranged a car for our ride back to Colombo, which made the trip home stress-free. Great vibe, perfect setting, and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend!

Surrounded by nature, there is so much to discover, just in front of your door. The garden is outstandingly beautiful, waking up with the sounds of birds and many other jungle creatures, we loved staying in this tiny beautiful house! Sadeepa and his family took such good care of us and couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely, caring and kind. The breakfast they made every morning was our highlight! Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food made with so much love! Thank you for everything! We truly recommend!
