We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rainforest getaway! Janith & his wife are really kind hosts, very helpful and passionate about the rainforest and the animals living there. Everything was really clean and we even got gluten free & vegan meal options. The food was delicious! We recommend choosing the local food options. Also the rainforest tour they organize is really special and recommendable! We loved it. Also the waterfall at the property is more than beautiful!

Located in Weligama in the Matara District region, with Midigama Beach nearby, The Whitegates Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Small clean property, the owner is really nice and talkative. They offered unique breakfast each day which were delicious. I could park my scooter in the garden, most of the beaches are nearby, especially one which is 1 min away, not crowded. There are lot of birds (but they are not annoying), so every morning have several cute visitors. :)

Wonderful location in the midst of the rainforest. Food was fresh and tasty. The lovely host Karina is very accommodating and can organise anything for you from transportation to tours. The river freshwater pool is very refreshing after a hike or trek in the forest.

Located within 1.4 km of Midigama Beach and 24 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium, Tree House-Midigama provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Weligama. It’s really beautiful, unique and comfortable. I even saw peacocks walking around the tree house. The open shower is amazing and offers tree view.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. Hotelli sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla aivan rannalla, ja sijainti onkin yksi sen suurimmista vahvuuksista. With garden views, Hiriketiya Suka Place is set in Hiriketiya and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. If you’re staying in Hiri this is a great option, the grounds are so well maintained. Our villa was really clean, equipped with all the amenities we needed (like gas stove for cooking and teas.) Over our stay we saw monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and even a tortoise, which we really enjoyed. Restaurants and Hiri beach are right down the hill.

Set in Dickwella in the Matara District region, Pixie Haven Lodge Hiriketiya features a balcony and garden views. Very spacious, good kitchen facilities and excellent location - walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The hosts were really helpful in organising the Wifi required to work remotely

This lodge offers free private parking and room service.... The Hidden Treehouse is a charming and unique place to stay! Surrounded by nature, there is so much to discover, just in front of your door. The garden is outstandingly beautiful, waking up with the sounds of birds and many other jungle creatures, we loved staying in this tiny beautiful house! Sadeepa and his family took such good care of us and couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely, caring and kind. The breakfast they made every morning was our highlight! Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food made with so much love! Thank you for everything! We truly recommend!

Ripple by the river features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Weligama, 2.1 km from Weligama Beach. This property is like a safari. We saw so much wildlife during our stay. The Air conditioner works very good and the WiFi is strong.

Offering garden views, Lemon juice villa is an accommodation set in Mirissa, 34 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole and 38 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. Lovely quiet private location. Right on lake. Host was excellent. Lovely clean room with spotless facilities. Would highly recommend. Sometimes see monkeys. Loved it 😘
