The owners put so much love in their eco stay, it is amazing. We enjoyed the family room for one night and it had an amazing view on the waterfall. We took a hike with a very nice guide all arranged bij the hotel owners. But honestly, just staying in the hotel gives you already the rainforest experience. We enjoyed swimming and playing in the private waterfall which is just a 3 minute walk down, enjoying the amazing home Made curries and the knowledge of the owners about plants, animals and medical use of herbs. We could have easily stayed a full week! Thank you again. 🙏

Amazing value for money, everything is new from your room to furniture to kitchen utensils, owner is very respectful and easy to communicate, attentive and trying to get what you need. Located in a strategic area right between busy Ahangama and Midigama, right in front of the beach. I initially booked 2 nights and booked extra three nights, I’m definitely coming back! Wonderful location in the midst of the rainforest. Food was fresh and tasty. The lovely host Karina is very accommodating and can organise anything for you from transportation to tours. The river freshwater pool is very refreshing after a hike or trek in the forest.

Located within 1.4 km of Midigama Beach and 24 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium, Tree House-Midigama provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Weligama. Awesome home cooked food, welcoming atmosphere and lovely and clean tree house. Surrounded by nature but close to the town.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. Everything! Location on the first line. Hosts are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Room is cleaned by your request at any time. Even transfer to airport was organized by our hosts.

Located in Midigama in the Matara District region, with Midigama Beach nearby, Dacha Retreat provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We were so lucky to have found this place! It's a truly cozy and warm spot. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal: close to Weligama on one side and the amazing Midigama Beach on the other, yet the property itself is quiet and peaceful. The garden with its pond full of fish and turtles is magical – we even saw some beautiful birds visiting! Highly recommended!

Nice quiet location, a unique place to stay. Lots of wildlife to see. Extremely clean and tidy. Large kitchen and also a fridge which came in handy during our stay.

Set in Dickwella in the Matara District region, Pixie Haven Lodge Hiriketiya features a balcony and garden views. Very spacious, good kitchen facilities and excellent location - walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The hosts were really helpful in organising the Wifi required to work remotely
