The breakfast and the dinners we ordered were excellent and very generous — we strongly recommend trying the local traditional dishes and even planning all meals at the accommodation. Staying in a glass-walled house in the middle of the rainforest is a truly unique experience. There were four of us, and we could observe the local wildlife and plant life around the clock. At night we even watched distant thunderstorms. Different groups of monkeys came by and we observed each other from close range, and there were also many bird species and lizards in the trees. A true paradise for nature lovers. The nearby waterfall seemed quite loud at first, but we got used to it quickly. The building itself is very well maintained, including the living space, toilet, and washing facilities. We also used the bathtub, which was a great bonus. One of the beds was a little squeaky, but it didn’t affect the overall experience. Getting there independently is somewhat difficult, so we used the minibus service arranged by them. We recommend relying on the transportation and logistics services provided by the hosts — the cars were in good condition, and all drivers had a calm and safe driving style. The location is perfect for exploring the rainforest. Janith is also an excellent guide who can show you the best of the surrounding nature. We also visited a tea plantation and tea factory with him, which was a very enjoyable experience. Overall, we highly recommend this place.
