Situated in Deniyaya, Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at Sinharaja Kurulu Ella! The view from the room was mesmerising! We saw tropical birds and monkeys whilst eating delicious meals. The hosts were lovely and passionate about the nature, animals and reptiles that we could find in the forest surrounding the hotel. The guided tour in the rainforest is also something we would recommend. The guide had in depth knowledge about what we could find and see in the forest! We would highly recommend a stay at the eco resort.

Located in Weligama in the Matara District region, with Midigama Beach nearby, The Whitegates Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Small clean property, the owner is really nice and talkative. They offered unique breakfast each day which were delicious. I could park my scooter in the garden, most of the beaches are nearby, especially one which is 1 min away, not crowded. There are lot of birds (but they are not annoying), so every morning have several cute visitors. :)

Featuring mountain views, Natural Mystic Sanctuary in Deniyaya features accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Complimentary WiFi is available. Beautiful room with a breathtaking view! The owners and staff are so kind. The tour of Sinharaja park that she arranged for us was great as well. Food is mostly homemade vegetarian curries, but they have a small menu and will make you other food if you ask. Such a peaceful place to recharge and just spend time in a beautiful, serene location.

Located within 1.4 km of Midigama Beach and 24 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium, Tree House-Midigama provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Weligama. The treehouse is amazing - we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I can highly recommend staying here. The property was really peaceful and relaxing. We wish we had more time to spend here and explore the lovely garden.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. We had a wonderful stay at Sira’s Chalets. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was exactly as described. The owner was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, always available and making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommended – we would definitely come back!

With garden views, Hiriketiya Suka Place is set in Hiriketiya and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. If you’re staying in Hiri this is a great option, the grounds are so well maintained. Our villa was really clean, equipped with all the amenities we needed (like gas stove for cooking and teas.) Over our stay we saw monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and even a tortoise, which we really enjoyed. Restaurants and Hiri beach are right down the hill.

Set in Dickwella in the Matara District region, Pixie Haven Lodge Hiriketiya features a balcony and garden views. Very spacious, good kitchen facilities and excellent location - walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The hosts were really helpful in organising the Wifi required to work remotely

This lodge offers free private parking and room service.... The Hidden Treehouse is a charming and unique place to stay! Surrounded by nature, there is so much to discover, just in front of your door. The garden is outstandingly beautiful, waking up with the sounds of birds and many other jungle creatures, we loved staying in this tiny beautiful house! Sadeepa and his family took such good care of us and couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely, caring and kind. The breakfast they made every morning was our highlight! Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food made with so much love! Thank you for everything! We truly recommend!

Ripple by the river features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Weligama, 2.1 km from Weligama Beach. I liked the location, the view, the room (ac was working perfectly, hot water, comfortable bed). The homemade food they were making was tasty and also reasonable priced. Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

Offering garden views, Lemon juice villa is an accommodation set in Mirissa, 34 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole and 38 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. The property was spotless, a beautiful chalet located next to a lake. My taxi driver (not related to lemon juice) had a problem finding the chalet however Dilum was very attentive and came out and found me and my taxi driver and took me to the Villa. He was extremely helpful. He helped me rent a scooter and attended to any requests promptly. I have to thank Dilum personally due to the fact I lost my phone in Marissa and Dilum went out of his way to track down and find my phone. I had an incredible experience there and even stayed an extra night. I saw a peacock on the chalet roof. One morning I was sitting on outside and a monkey walked straight past me. The value for money is incredible and I will defiantly be staying there again.
