Located in Weligama in the Matara District region, with Midigama Beach nearby, The Whitegates Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Room was small but perfect for us. Toilet was clean, owner was nice. He helped for our moped rental for our whole stay and also made sure we were comfortable all the time. It was nice to be checked on. House was also quite literally a <1 minute walk to the beach. It was also a very quiet beach with a restaurant right in front. Would stay here again when I come back.

This accommodation in the rain forest is beautiful! It's the perfect place to have a peaceful stay in the middle of the jungle. Karina, the host, takes great care of the place. There is a river in which you can swim, a Yoga place in the forest and the hotel team makes great food. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back :)

Located within 1.4 km of Midigama Beach and 24 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium, Tree House-Midigama provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Weligama. My and my friend’s childhood dream came true. It was so cozy, cute, comfortable and unique stay. AC and fan work properly. You can get up from the bed and hug a tree. We didn’t want to leave. The dinner was cooked by the family and we had it in the yard. Breakfast also. Everything was super delicious. The host was the star⭐️ He has a kind heart. He showed us the garden, helped with everything needed.

Nice hotel where you can walk to the beach from. Staff very friendly and helpful. They arrange tours and transfers. Grat breakfast.

With garden views, Hiriketiya Suka Place is set in Hiriketiya and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The location was perfect—just a five-minute walk to the beach, yet backing onto the jungle, which made it beautifully peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved spending time on the balcony watching and listening to the resident wildlife. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Set in Dickwella in the Matara District region, Pixie Haven Lodge Hiriketiya features a balcony and garden views. Very spacious, good kitchen facilities and excellent location - walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The hosts were really helpful in organising the Wifi required to work remotely

The place feels like a real jungle retreat—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and beautifully designed. The family running it is incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a unique and relaxing escape, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Ripple by the river features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Weligama, 2.1 km from Weligama Beach. This property is like a safari. We saw so much wildlife during our stay. The Air conditioner works very good and the WiFi is strong.
