We had an incredible 3d2n stay at Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort. Even before our stay, Janith and Manisha went above and beyond to make our trip to Sri Lanka enjoyable. The drive we had originally booked cancelled last minute, and they were able to quickly arrange transport for us from Colombo to the resort and even for the subsequent week of our trip. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, both the structures and the surrounding areas, which includes a path to a waterfall and gorgeous views of the rainforest. We ate each meal here and loved every single bite - the coconut sambal was some of the best in the world. For those with smaller stomachs, the portions are huge so it’s best to split a plate so as to avoid food waste. We originally booked the triple room with a view but when we saw the Superior Family Room, we immediately upgrades because it’s essentially a glass treehouse immersed in the jungle. We also booked a jungle tour through the resort and our guide Kumar took us on an incredible all day journey through a tea plantation to a rainforest, where we explored waterfalls and learned about the local flora. We are traveling through Sri Lanka for a few weeks and really this has been one of the highlights of our trip because of beautiful location, delicious food, the wonderful memories made on the jungle tour, and most importantly the compassion and kindness that were shown to us at every minute by Janith and Manisha. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely loved this place. The beautiful beach was just across the road. We had a very comfortable stay with all the facilities in the house. And the family owners were very nice. It’s the one of the beautiful guesthouses that I will definitely come back !

Food was fresh and tasty. The lovely host Karina is very accommodating and can organise anything for you from transportation to tours. The river freshwater pool is very refreshing after a hike or trek in the forest.

The treehouse is amazing - we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I can highly recommend staying here. The property was really peaceful and relaxing. We wish we had more time to spend here and explore the lovely garden.

Sira's Chalets is beach front property offering air-conditioned chalets with a sea view terrace and free WiFi. It features a restaurant and garden with sun beds and hammocks where guests can relax. -Ubytovanie sa nachádza priamo na pláži, majiteľ je priateľský a ochotný, izba priestranná. -Chodili nám upratovať a každý deň doplniť vodu na pitie -Chladnicka na izbe - poskytli nám aj uteráky na pláž a lehátka

Ubytovanie Rainforest Royal Heritage, ktoré sa nachádza v destinácii Deniyaya, ponúka bezplatné Wi-Fi, záhradu s terasou a výhľad na hory. Na mieste je k dispozícii súkromné parkovisko. The place is AMAZING! A super nice cottage with everything you need. Right in front of the forest you can enjoy breakfast with one of the best views ever. The host is incredibly welcoming and caring, and he took great care of all our needs. It’s my second time in Sri Lanka, and this is the best place I’ve stayed so far. Still not crowded, right in the middle of nature. Best experience ever — thank you!

Location is perfect, just 5 min walk from restaurants and shops. It has a kitchen and a really beautiful garden full of wild life .The owner is very nice, always helpful. Totally would stay here again

Very spacious, good kitchen facilities and excellent location - walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The hosts were really helpful in organising the Wifi required to work remotely

The Hidden Treehouse is a charming and unique place to stay! Surrounded by nature, there is so much to discover, just in front of your door. The garden is outstandingly beautiful, waking up with the sounds of birds and many other jungle creatures, we loved staying in this tiny beautiful house! Sadeepa and his family took such good care of us and couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely, caring and kind. The breakfast they made every morning was our highlight! Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food made with so much love! Thank you for everything! We truly recommend!
