The location of this hotel on Nilaveli beach cannot be beaten. It is 100m down from the louder beach bars area - with all the local fishing boats in between. The pool is clean and large and the shaded palm tree area beside it is a beautiful place to sit in a hammock. The attractive huts on the hotels’ private beach area provide shade for the sun beds - the beach is clean and the sea great for body boarding (July). The staff are all friendly and some of them had a pro-active approach to the guests.

Rooms are very spacious and very clean. The staffs are extremely friendly, specially the chef in the restaurant who is very welcoming with an extraordinary attitude. I love the reception area and welcome process. Rooms with direct access to the pool are great. The bar with the typical Sri lankan hut style amazing. My son had a very pleasant stay.

The staff was super friendly, they really cared about us to feel safe (we had a small issue with another guest who mistook his room with ours on our first night, nothing important, but still they acted so kindly) and enjoy our holiday :) We slept in a cozy cabin in front of the swimming pool, perfectly clean and fully equiped. We loved the breakfasts with their big variety of food in front of the beach. Thank you all guys! My friends and I fully reccomend it :)

I recently stayed at the beach hut property and had an absolutely delightful experience. The hut is charmingly designed and just steps away from the pristine beach, offering stunning ocean views. The hosts were welcoming and provided excellent local recommendations, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their hospitality truly stood out. Overall, I highly recommend this beach hut for a serene and relaxing getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Magnificent location, right on a beautiful beach really great for swimming and sunrises. Outstanding food, really friendly and helpful hostess Mandy who makes you feel totally at home. Great place to meet other traveller's. Cabin was basic but had super comfy bed and even A/C and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was pure magic! Loved the cows on the beach too. One of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka!

Great place to hang out. Simple beach huts with everything you need. Fabulous Sri Lankan breakfast, lovely helpful staff. Would highly recommend Vitamin Sea 🌊
