The accommodation is situated up in the mountains, accessible by foot or car. We parked the car at the lake and walked up to the accomodation through the woods. We ensured we started the walk in time so we would be at the accomodation at 6 pm, to not have to walk in the dark. Once there we were welcomed by the beautiful sunset, the warm fire stove and the very welcoming and genuine host. She made us feel at home right away. We ate a delicious dinner with homemade bread, cheese, soup, etc. Breakfast was also delicious with homemade bread and cheese, baked potatoes, baked meat, fruit jam, apples, etc. We slept in a very cosy cabin and were supplied with enough blankets to keep us nice and cosy after a hot shower. This accomodation is definitely worth the hike!

There are small fridge, kettle, conditioner and some kitchenware. Terrace with river view is stunning! Owners are highly friendly and hospitable. Place are close to the National park (15 minutes by car to Biograd lake ) . We’ll definitely come again.

Man ist direkt im Grünen, es gibt auf dem Gelände viele gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten, einige Tiere und es ist nicht weit zu einer kleinen Badestelle an der Tara. Die Bungalows sind super ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Dragan und Sonja sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das von Sonja zubereitete Essen schmeckt wirklich gut! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

We arrived to find the little katuns cozy and welcoming, with a crackling fire already prepared to keep us warm — such a simple but deeply thoughtful touch that instantly made us feel at home. The whole place felt like a winter dream: snow-covered hills all around, breathtaking views in every direction, and the peaceful feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by untouched nature. What made it unforgettable, though, was Jelena. She is, without a doubt, the best host we have ever met. Kind, warm, and always ready to help, she went far beyond what we could have ever expected to make our stay perfect. Her cooking was amazing — every meal tasted like it was prepared with genuine care and love. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both so cared for and so connected to nature. We had all of that here, and it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever.

The next chalet is far enough away that guests don't disturb each other. It's not easy to find the accommodation at night by google map, but the local firefighters and the host were helpful.
