Wonderful small hotel/guesthouse on a remote beach in Nosy Be. Transport from the airport involved both car and boat. We were a group of three, with my spouse, myself, and my 20 year old daughter. Our room and the grounds were absolutely beautiful, with traditional thatch roofs on many of the structures, and both covered and uncovered outdoor common spaces to have meals and relax by the ocean. There was a local band of lemurs. There was a beautiful stretch of pebbly beach with the huge tide shifts common in the area and amazing sunrise views. We ate all meals at the hotel, which featured local ingredients and seafood. The young chef checked in on diet preferences. We arranged all activities directly with Jean Michel, including a boat transport and guided walk in the Lokobe Nature Reserve (where we saw several different types of lemurs, chameleons and frogs, and a boa!), and a boat trip to Nosy Tanikely to snorkel a beautiful, living reef and walk up to the lighthouse on the top of the island.

Marvellous place for the last days of our stay in Nosy Be. Spacious and typical furnished room, very clean, surrounded by a beautiful garden with a lot of different plants and trees at a few steps from our sunbeds and beach with unforgettable sunsets. We visited the tree house which was really beautifully built on a giant tree. Never seen one so big on three stores! Service was very kind, never invasive and food was always good and fresh. Ivonne and Loris took care of us for all our needs, even before our arrival. We never forget and will do our best to come back soon!

On the east coast of Nosy-Be, Manga Soa Lodge is located in the middle of a tropical garden and offers a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. Each morning I would slowly open the wooden doors of my cabin to the sun reaching out across the ocean toward me. It is paradise. At all times you feel connected to your environment, the structure of the properties brings the outside in in such an elegant way. The massage above the rocky shore was blissful, the staff were delightful.

We were the only ones as it was low season and they were super accommodating. It was very peaceful, just what we needed. The staff was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the views!!!! Simply wow. The only thing missing was a beach but everything else more than made up for it! They even managed to make a last minute cake for my birthday 🥹
