Casa Cactus Buenavista was the perfect peaceful escape! The lush gardens full of birds, the beautiful pool, and our charming casita with a super comfortable bed, hammock and private terrace made it easy to relax. The WiFi worked great throughout our stay, which was a big plus. The staff — Jey, Sebastián and Mia — were warm, attentive, and helped with everything from taxis to beach clubs. We took an ADO bus to Bacalar and a short taxi (about 30 mins / 200–250 pesos) to the property, and got around easily without a car. We loved the breakfast and dinner plan — every meal was delicious (favorites were butter chicken, cochinita pibil and tuna poke bowl!). We also recommend Sebastián’s private sailing tour — a serene experience with guacamole and drinks on the beautiful northern lagoon. The small town of Buenavista feels rustic, safe and peaceful, with lagoon access a short walk away. We highly, highly recommend staying here!

This peaceful place is heaven on earth. Not easy to find, but once you get there you find paradise. The property features only 3 full-comfort cabanas. The outside pool is great. The garden area is well-maintained and beautiful. Super communication with the owner, Monica. Delicious and fresh breakfast is prepared every morning by Martin, whi is super helpful. Full and convenient kitechen outside. Very romantic and unusual. Small shops and streetfood nearby. Halfway between Tulum and Koba. We loved everything about it. I just booked my second stay there and I can't wait to return.

Cachito de Cielo Luxury Jungle Lodge in Tulum provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. This was a beautiful room in a very lovely lush jungle area. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so soft and the rain shower head with hot water was the best shower I have had in Mexico. There was a fully stocked kitchen to cook. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Set in Bacalar, Tucán Villages Bacalar Lagoon Front offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. It was so peaceful, that was the best. It isn't so close to the center but it was really easy to call a taxi, and their prices were fine. Really relaxing, it was nice waking up to the sounds of nature. The kayaks and access to the lagoon were great. I'm definitively going to stay there again. The little communal kitchen and water dispenser was a big bonus.

At the edge of the Sian Ka'an natural reserve, this place makes you feel already inside of it. A nice relaxing place to sleep and chill swimming in the cenote. Completely isolated from the crowded and fuzzy street, keeping a great location for going partying if that's what you are looking for. Great balance!

Very kind and helpful staff, beautiful interior and secluded place. On the patio there are many different chairs and sunbeds. The common kitchen has everything you need. Convenient location, compared to other hotels and in the depths of the jungle. We would definitely come back to this place!

Situated a few steps from Mahahual Beach, Palmeras de Mahahual Cabañas offers free bikes, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Clean, good service, and in a good location. Also in front of cabañas theres a spot on the beach where everyone can rest and go in. Since restaurants own every part of the beach 😅 Theres also free bikes from the property I definitely come back and stay here again! Thanks
