Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the pool, Casa Cactus Buenavista is set in Bacalar and offers accommodation with free WiFi. Casa Cactus Buenavista was the perfect peaceful escape! The lush gardens full of birds, the beautiful pool, and our charming casita with a super comfortable bed, hammock and private terrace made it easy to relax. The WiFi worked great throughout our stay, which was a big plus. The staff — Jey, Sebastián and Mia — were warm, attentive, and helped with everything from taxis to beach clubs. We took an ADO bus to Bacalar and a short taxi (about 30 mins / 200–250 pesos) to the property, and got around easily without a car. We loved the breakfast and dinner plan — every meal was delicious (favorites were butter chicken, cochinita pibil and tuna poke bowl!). We also recommend Sebastián’s private sailing tour — a serene experience with guacamole and drinks on the beautiful northern lagoon. The small town of Buenavista feels rustic, safe and peaceful, with lagoon access a short walk away. We highly, highly recommend staying here!

Located in Bacalar, Azul Nomeolvides Bacalar - Guests Only provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the direct laguna view cabañas and enjoyed tremendously everything: from the hosts, Bernie and Sam who were very welcoming and helpful, to the amazing views and setting, the confort of the rooms to the very nice and healthy food available throughout the day. We liked the place so much that we ended up staying there throughout our stay, just enjoying the beauty of the place. A true slow living experience!

Located in Bacalar, Pucté 13 provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This place is magestical. The host is lovely and helpful. I strongly recommend this for a good and quiet rest.

Boasting a garden and views of pool, The Diving Lodge Downtown is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Puerto Morelos, a few steps from Playa Puerto Morelos. The perfect Mexican cabins on the beach! The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed the short beautiful ten minute walk to town every evening for dinner. You can walk along the beach or down the street. It’s perfect while on vacation, especially after eating a great dinner. The best bar on the beach with the best and most attentive bartenders and staff. They are warm and create a welcoming enjoyment environment. There’s a restaurant, a pool, and option to get massages on site. The Greek restaurant had their re-opening after their remodel while we were there, and we had the opportunity to sample their food. It was good, nice to have the option. The bar also serves food.

With Xcalak Beach reachable in a few steps, Casa Cangrejo Xcalak Lodge features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property was well situated for fly fishing. It had lovely views. Was large, and immaculately clean. It had great AC which is unusual in Xcalak! Breakfast was great, different every day, and served early enough to leave for fishing at 7.30 The beach was small but kept very clean and had nice chairs and sun shelter. The terrace caught the breeze in an evening and was lovely to sit there watching the pelicans.

Cachito de Cielo Luxury Jungle Lodge in Tulum provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. This was a beautiful room in a very lovely lush jungle area. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so soft and the rain shower head with hot water was the best shower I have had in Mexico. There was a fully stocked kitchen to cook. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Set in Bacalar, Tucán Villages Bacalar Lagoon Front offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. Beautiful location right on the lake. Use of kayaks and equipment. Lots of different comfortable sitting areas and shade. Right on the cenote, so good snorkeling along the edge.

Set in Tulum, Yaxchen Tulum Cabañas & Cenote offers 3-star accommodation with access to a garden and a terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The property is amazing, the cenote beautiful and the staff is super super kind.

Very kind and helpful staff, beautiful interior and secluded place. On the patio there are many different chairs and sunbeds. The common kitchen has everything you need. Convenient location, compared to other hotels and in the depths of the jungle. We would definitely come back to this place!

With sea views, Hotel Cielo y Selva is located in Punta Allen and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Everything was perfect. Beachfront location, cute and fun tents, view was unbeatable and staff was AMAZING.
