The lush gardens full of birds, the beautiful pool, and our charming casita with a super comfortable bed, hammock and private terrace made it easy to relax. The WiFi worked great throughout our stay, which was a big plus. The staff — Jey, Sebastián and Mia — were warm, attentive, and helped with everything from taxis to beach clubs. We took an ADO bus to Bacalar and a short taxi (about 30 mins / 200–250 pesos) to the property, and got around easily without a car. We loved the breakfast and dinner plan — every meal was delicious (favorites were butter chicken, cochinita pibil and tuna poke bowl!). We also recommend Sebastián’s private sailing tour — a serene experience with guacamole and drinks on the beautiful northern lagoon. The small town of Buenavista feels rustic, safe and peaceful, with lagoon access a short walk away. We highly, highly recommend staying here!

The perfect Mexican cabins on the beach! The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed the short beautiful ten minute walk to town every evening for dinner. You can walk along the beach or down the street. It’s perfect while on vacation, especially after eating a great dinner. The best bar on the beach with the best and most attentive bartenders and staff. They are warm and create a welcoming enjoyment environment. There’s a restaurant, a pool, and option to get massages on site. The Greek restaurant had their re-opening after their remodel while we were there, and we had the opportunity to sample their food. It was good, nice to have the option. The bar also serves food.

Casa Cangrejo Xcalak Lodge heeft een restaurant en accommodatie met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Strand van Xcalak ligt op een paar minuten lopen. The property was well situated for fly fishing. It had lovely views. Was large, and immaculately clean. It had great AC which is unusual in Xcalak! Breakfast was great, different every day, and served early enough to leave for fishing at 7.30 The beach was small but kept very clean and had nice chairs and sun shelter. The terrace caught the breeze in an evening and was lovely to sit there watching the pelicans.

Cachito de Cielo Luxury Jungle Lodge bevindt zich in Tulum Pueblo, op 8,2 km van Archeologische vindplaats Tulum en 6,7 km van Tulum Bus station, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning... This was a beautiful room in a very lovely lush jungle area. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so soft and the rain shower head with hot water was the best shower I have had in Mexico. There was a fully stocked kitchen to cook. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel Cielo y Selva ligt in Punta Allen met uitzicht op de zee en heeft een restaurant, een excursiebalie, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. This was an unforgettable experience for our family of four. The premises were so nice and beatiful with lots of sunbeds, hammocks etc to just chill. We stayed in the cabañas which were cozy and well-maintained. Just pull the curtains in the morning and watch the magnificent sunrise. The staff was very friendly, service-minded and helped us exploring diffetent options of what to do, for example set us up with a guide for an early morning bird walk. Many species can be seen on and near the premises. An osprey regularly rests in one of the palm trees on the beach.We really recommend it .
