I spent more than 2 weeks in Mexico with my partner and friends and this was definitely the best accommodation. The rooms are very spacious and nicely designed. I really liked the garden and swimming pool area (very relaxing!). Casa Cactus Buenavista has a great location to explore places like Bacalar, Los Rapidos, Mahahual. Regarding food, the host can prepare it for you if you order in advance (it was so delicious!!!). You can also visit a local restaurant located few minutes on foot from Casa Cactus (there is also an option to have it delivered). Close to Casa Cactus there are also local shops with food, honey, souvenirs. Wifi signal was strong and available everywhere (not only in rooms). Jay and Sebastian are fantastic hosts. They took care of us so well. I felt like at home :) I truly recommend Casa Cactus Buenavista and will definitely go back when I am in Mexico again.

The hotel is located a bit outside the town of Bacalar, but that didn’t bother us. It’s a wonderful corner of nature with very friendly staff. The cabin is stylish, with plenty of lounge areas and a lot of privacy. We stayed in January, so it was quite humid and cold to sleep at night. The lagoon water is stunning—clean, with a floating platform and a hammock in the water. Breakfast was excellent and delicious, and the dinner was also of very high quality. Although the price is high compared to the rest of the region, the romance makes it worth it 💙

Nastanitev Casa Cangrejo Xcalak Lodge je od znamenitosti Plaža Playa Xcalak oddaljena le nekaj korakov in nudi restavracijo, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. The property was well situated for fly fishing. It had lovely views. Was large, and immaculately clean. It had great AC which is unusual in Xcalak! Breakfast was great, different every day, and served early enough to leave for fishing at 7.30 The beach was small but kept very clean and had nice chairs and sun shelter. The terrace caught the breeze in an evening and was lovely to sit there watching the pelicans.

We really like the calmness and the peaceful atmosphere. The family who manages the facility are very friendly and kind. The communication and access was easy. Nicest part: you are really in the middle of the jungle!

Nastanitev Yaxchen Tulum Cabañas & Cenote se nahaja le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Playa Tulum Sur in ponuja vrt, teraso, brezplačen WiFi ter enote z verando. - The man from the staff and the lady that cooked us breakfast in front of us were really sweet and helpful. - The cenote was an amazing bonus, the property provided free kayaks and we watched a beautiful sunset from them. - There was a fireplace outside and it was amazing to be around fire during our last night. - There were mosquito nets on all beds. - Available tap water outside the room. - They provide free entrance on Dos Ceibas beach, which is just a 10 minutes walk - The whole property was just amazing, from the room to the garden and there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

The stay at Cielo y Selva was absolutely amazing. The beachside location is stunning, though the road to get there is quite rugged. However, I highly recommend opting for the boat ride—it's a much smoother and faster alternative. Once you arrive, the place is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. It’s the ideal place to relax and escape, with every detail contributing to a truly memorable experience. If you are planning on going, i recommend minimum 2 nights.
