In the morning, we practically have the beach to ourselves. During the night, we experienced a few blackouts. I think this is not the owner's fault. However, the owner provided us with portable solar lamp for our use in the house, which helped a lot. We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay and hoped we can come back another time.

Fands sehr entspannt.

Sie haben jeden Tag frisch für und gekocht. Frischen Fisch, Meeresfrüchte und Gemüse, es war das beste Essen das wir in Borneo hatten! Außerdem hat er ein Boot mit dem er uns zum Schnorcheln ausgeführt hat. Wir haben viele bunte Korallen und Fische gesehen und auf einer kleinen Insel Mittag gegessen. Es war atemberaubend schön!

Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Host is super friendly and we felt well taken care of, including delicious meals, great experiences on outdoor activities and the cozy room. Although the resort located in the middle of the mountain, everything is in good condition and very clean.
