I never make time for reviews but this place deserves it. I booked 1 night, stayed 3, wish I could live there...Amazing location, beautiful quiet beach (and ok with beach campfires), massive portions of delicious homemade food at super reasonable price (easily accommodated vegetarian but would love to serve you fresh seafood), comfy and safe place (solo female traveller here and felt 100% comfortable at all times), many activities depending on your wishes. One of the best snorkelling locations I've ever seen (Belize has nothing compared to Banggi island!!). Best of all, I felt treated as a guest/friend rather than a source of cash. Host Romeo really went out of his way to make me happy. Cannot say enough good things....just go for yourself and you will be amazed

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

929 Villa, kundasang is set in Kundasang. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. All units at the chalet complex come with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. Located at Mesilau roadside, with easy parking access (small cars will appreciate this). Rooms was clean, area was nice. View to Mount Kinabalu was partly covered by trees but depending on your artistic style it might be better. 2 bathrooms, 3 beds and kitchen is complete (we cooked for kids and adults)
