Located in Alta in the Finnmark region, Flatmoen Natur Lodge provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. They have 4 lovely cabins next to each other with beautiful nature views. The very comfy bed is surrounded by glas windows and a glas roof and we were able to see the northern lights at night from the bed as we were staying here in December. The cabin itself had a kitchen with everything you need to cook, but the local pizza place will also deliver food, if you can't be bothered. We did book also a 3 hour horse carridge ride with dinner included which the lodge offers on their website. You can even book it online. We can highly recommend a stay here and also the sledge ride. Oh, and the jacuzzi on the terrace is super romantic!

With mountain views, Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge is set in Alta and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. It felt like an elite hotel in the Alps. Everything was top quality - food, room, surroundings. Dinner was a piece of art. Comfy slippers helped to enforce the cosy vibes. Plenty of general areas (lounge etc) for pleasant chilling and wonderful views from outside. I visited during the summer and seriously consider coming back during winter.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. Beautiful lodge in the nature. Very fun to meet the puppies!

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Vadsø, Ekker Island Arctic Lodge is a holiday home surrounded by views of the garden. An ideal location--we stayed twice.

Located in Norskholmen in the Finnmark region, Forest lodge features a patio and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Ez a ház egyszerűen csodálatos. A környezet, a csend, a nyugalom, a béke. Mi akkor voltunk ott, amikor a legnagyobbhidegek voltak, mínusz 33 fokban, de semmi gond nem volt. A kandallóban ropogott a tűz, vittünk be fát, jól befűtöttünk. A ház nagyon kényelmes és tágas. A konyha teljesen feszerelt és remek. Az ágy nagy, a matrac pont jó, a párna is. A házigazdák nagyon kedvesek voltak, szinte lesték minden kívánságunkat. Amikor a nagy hidegek voltak, külön írtak nekünk, hogy minden rendben van-e, mert az időjárás tényleg extrémre fordult. A ház Tana kisvárostól 20 perc autóútra van. A kisvárosban két nagy bolt és benzinkút is van. Ha autóval mész, csodás kirándulásokat lehet tenni Kirkenesbe, Karasjokba, Utsjokiba, Vardobe és Vadsobe is. Ha visszatérünk ide, itt fogunk lakni. Norvégia nem olcsó ország, de ez a ház egyáltalán nem volt drága. Köszönünk szépen mindent a két kedves tulajdonosnak. This house is simply wonderful. The surroundings, the silence, the peace, the peace. We were there when it was the coldest, minus 33 degrees, but there was no problem. The fire was crackling in the fireplace, we brought wood in, and we were well heated. The house is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and great. The bed is big, the mattress is just right, the pillow too. The hosts were very kind, they almost anticipated our every wish. When it was really cold, they wrote to us separately to see if everything was okay, because the weather was really extreme. The house is 20 minutes drive from the small town of Tana. There are two large shops and a gas station in the small town. If you go by car, you can make wonderful trips to Kirkenes, Karasjok, Utsjoki, Vardo and Vadso. If we come back here, we will live here. Norway is not a cheap country, but this house was not expensive at all. Thank you very much for everything to the two lovely owners.

You’re far away from everything only surrounded by nature… Bjorge my host is a very nice guy, he helped me to find my way around the place or with any questions you might have. You have a fully equiped lovely timber cottage for yourself, and if you keep all the lights off you can see when the Northern Lights appear… It doesn’t get any better than this, I’ll be back!
