Rustic cabin with wood stove, wood burning sauna, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen. I enjoyed getting a tour of the hosts beautiful Norwegian elk hounds and Alaskan malamutes. There’s even a bbq hut but we didn’t use it. Friendly hosts and lots of peace and quiet.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. Trina our hostess was excellent and very accommodating.Kamil was a great tour guide and all the huskies were a real pleasure.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. The hotel was just perfect, the staff was super helpful. Trasti was the best host anyone could expect! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone intending to stay at Alta.

You’re far away from everything only surrounded by nature… Bjorge my host is a very nice guy, he helped me to find my way around the place or with any questions you might have. You have a fully equiped lovely timber cottage for yourself, and if you keep all the lights off you can see when the Northern Lights appear… It doesn’t get any better than this, I’ll be back!
