I have discovered this road by accident, years ago when I stopped on its intersection with E10 for a photo, then the GPS mistakenly sent me this way. I could have not been happier. The cabin is close to the campground and the famous Matmora trail. The cabin is right by the fjord, and this part of the fjord is the last ramification, so it looks more like a lake. Inside the cabin has everything you need, even WiFi at this remote location.

Although the lodge is in a remote location, several shops are just 10 minutes driving away.

We stayed at this house for four nights with four people. The house is extremely spacious (in fact, probably to big for us four), and it is probably the best equipped house we have encountered in Norway (laundry facilities, best coffeemaker, and everything you can imagine in a kitchen). The house is extremely well maintained, with a lot of welcome attention to details, a great view from the sitting room. The owner responded to our questions in virtually no time. And yes, the house is close to the E-10, but we knew this and it was no problem at all thanks to the build of the house. For us, it was perfectly located to explore this part of Lofotes.

The only thing we didn't know was that the bed linen needed to be rented separately, because in the other rooms where we stayed, the linen was made. It was new for us, and because of the difference in languages, we did not immediately understand what was what. But the owner gave a recommendation to buy disposable sheets in the store, which is much cheaper than renting linen. I recommend.
