The host's warmth was evident from the moment we arrived - she graciously accommodated our early check-in with a smile, showed us around and provided suggestions for walks in the area.  The cottage itself and the main house are a  perfect blend of history and comfort. The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious, the bed provided an excellent night's sleep, and the shower was great. Everything was spotlessly clean. The property's location is ideal - just a 10-minute drive from the lake, which made for a lovely afternoon walk. But what really sets this place apart is the beautiful surroundings. They also serve dinner in the historic house if book it 24 hr in advance. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in the area!

We loved everything about our stay, especially though getting to interact with the alpaca’s, especially baby Bobo who was cuter than cute. May was great host, cabin was cozy, breakfasts were delicious. Staying here was a highlight of our trip.
