The Host (Ricky) will go out of his way to make you as comfortable as possible. The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to the square and is also situated next to the lookout trail. highly recommend staying here and being part of the growth of this place.

The shower had reliably hot water (a big plus!), and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying every day. You can feel the care and love Ricky puts into everything he does. His two friendly dogs and super cuddly cat made the place feel even more like home. I can’t recommend staying here enough—thank you for everything, Ricky!

Casa del Montañista felt like a little piece of paradise just outside the hustle and bustle of Huaraz. Easy to get to and from the city with a 5 minute colectivo. The tandem hammocks in the garden were a perfect spot to relax and acclimatize for a few days. Eva and her son are such kind and gracious hosts. They prepared a delightful breakfast spread for us each morning. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the mountain views from our balcony. Staying here was an absolute highlight. There are also many trails to explore directly from the property. We would highly recommend staying here.

They have a beautiful and private piece of paradise. They were so kind and welcoming - and lots of fun to karaoke with! The food, handcrafted beer, pool, and room were exceptional. Bely was so kind to arrange taxis for hiking, helped us with our laundry, and taught us some Spanish! They have two very cute and friendly dogs (and a cat). Their place is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a river nearby, and is just a short 30m walk to the town centre. Highly recommend staying here!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, The Lazy Dog Inn is situated 7 km from Huaraz, and 3,650 metres above sea level. Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. Amazing food and filling portions. Great place to acclimatise or treat yourself to some luxuries after a hike. Great advice on hikes.

Cuesta Serena is a boutique hotel offering accommodations with free WiFi access in common areas and mountain views in Anta-Huaraz. The views from the hotel are amazing, you feel hugged by the mountains. I booked a short stay to relax before going to a conference. I also booked massages and Reiki. Truly a relaxing experience and I would definitely go back.
