This hotel is a real hidden gem. The access is a bit tricky through country roads, but once you arrive and the gates open, it truly feels like paradise. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. On top of that, the hotel is located right next to sacred valley river where you can chill. And if you love animals, you’ll be delighted !! There are dogs, cat, rabbit, chickens, guinea pigs, and even a Lama !

Lovely people, quaint place and would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this Lovely town on their way to machu pichu. A short walk from the main square and they send a cart and someone to help with luggage etc.

We arrived after a 20km hike and were so tired. Wilder greeted us with such kindness and made himself very available and helpful. He made everything easy for us by offering us tea, helping us order food and organising our taxi for the thermal baths in Cocalmayo. The lodge is beautiful and peaceful. I've traveled a lot and this was my favourite accomodation so far: wish I could give 11/10 ! In the morning after breafkast we hung out in the hammacks and read to the sound of the river. I even saw two baby condors and a hummingbird in this magical place.

Everyone at the Tara Vegan Lodge was exceptionally caring and kind and extremely helpful. Señorita Jocelyn helped me with everything, even taking the bus and setting up tour guides. I felt quite at home. The meals were absolutely delicious, healthy, very fresh and the breakfast was luxurious! The rooms are big, very beautiful and very comfortable. It's definitely shielded from the noise in town and everyday I watched humming birds from the room's terrace. Even though it's not situated right in the town of Urubamba, one can get there very easily in less than 10 minutes and for 2 soles in the very frequent bus that stops just in front.
