This hostel is really amazing, just next to San Pedro market. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable and private. Facilities are perfect and it’s clean. We came back 3 times at this hostel. Wilson from the staff is really welcoming and attentive. The breakfast is a varied buffet that change a bit every day. There is also a shared kitchen with the basics ustensiles and condiments (salt, oil, sugar).

It is two blocks away from plaza de armas which means we have access to all the shops without all the noise. The location is very convenient. We had to leave at 4am for our tours and packed sandwiches and fruits and water are ready for us to snack on. The receptionists are all very nice and accommodating. The place is clean and whenever we come home very tired from tour, we are welcomed with a clean room.

The hotel is beautiful. The charm of the old, with the comfort of the modern rooms. The concierge service was great for the tours and restaurants. Our driver during the transfers was great, as was our guide Hugo! We had an amazing time. The restaurant inside the hotel is great, as well as the one at Monastério (which is also a Belmond across the street). The complimentary mini bar is a great addition and we loved the small surprises/ beauty products in our room. You will see a lot of small details like covers on the water balls or small attentions during the turndown service.

Amazing hotel at the very center of Cusco. The building is a historical colonial house with a central patio. The rooms are modern, spacious and very well decorated. Big beds. Oxygen in rooms is available in case you may need it. The staff are super friendly, eager to please and ready to help. Buffet breakfast is excellent and very abundant. Special mention to Soraida and Fernando there. An experience not to miss.

There are things to see in and near (Machu Pichu) Cusco that cannot be seen elsewhere. On the other hand, the place is literally overrun with tourists and miles away from life as most Peruvians live it. Businesses that cater to tourists dominate everything, and the tours I took were industrialized tourism at its worst.

The city, is encapsulated in an area, with no new development. It is kept pristine over the years. I have visited it al least 8 times, since I was 20 years old, now I am 70. It is my favority town in the region of Cusco, second would be Pisac. This town has the beauty of the ruins/history, much to explore. Beautiful inca streets. At night, the stars. The morning rise and sunset. Exquisite experience. Stay there at least 2 days one night. Climb the ruins, both sides of the mountains. Stay a night for the Stars, before you venture to the train station to go to MachuPicchu. In MachuPicchu stay in aguas calients at least one night, climb WaynaPicchu.

Pisac is totally charming. I’m so glad I stayed out of town though and loved walking to the archeological site and then exploring as I walked down to the village. You can get good affordable food at the market. Don’t be afraid to use local paths and the collectivos - affordable and efficient. The people are lovely. The archeological site is amazing. Very nice town, small and calm, clean, local people's are kindly and ready to help. Restaurants is not expensive for tourists and delicious food. One thing you have to know about before go to see Machu Picchu, it's about a clouds, if there's clouds and no sunshine it's trouble, because you'll see nothing but clouds.
