Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit of all kinds; choice of how eggs are prepared; French press coffee; teas; hot foods and meats/cheese every day. The beds were comfortable complete with plenty of pillows and comforters. Shower hot. Staff very helpful to your needs. Taxi called for you upon request; b'fast sack prepared when you have a tour early morning; held my luggage for a week while I was on a rainforest tour; excellent, excellent! Internet great. Location was just a block away from center square and all the action, but far enough so not noisy. Coca tea provided 24/7. Filtered water jug also provided. I stayed in two different rooms as my reservations bookended a rainforest tour.

The room was SPACIOUS! Usually there is little room to put the luggage and move around, this was not the case - amazing! Breakfast had great variety. Staff was great! Was able to leave my luggage (free of charge) at the hotel until the eve. Also, there is a lovely laundry service (Katya) super close - additional bonus.

We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel. We had a beautiful colonial style room with very comfortable beds. The hotel grounds are also very beautifully organized. The breakfast was delicious, we even ate local exotic fruits. The hotel staff is beyond praise. We were very helped during 4 days by the manager Marina Romero in organizing many of our requests. We especially enjoyed the massages done by Yuddina and Kristina in the spa salon. They are incredibly talented masseuses! A huge thank you to them for the fact that we received true relaxation after a busy active day. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a luxurious time in Sacred Valley.

The exterior of the building is a historic structure, but the interior is modern and very clean. The rooms and common areas were very clean. The hospitality of the staff was excellent. We checked out and left our luggage at the hotel and went to Rainbow Mountain. We came back covered in sand and they allowed us to use the showers in the common area. This was very helpful as we were supposed to fly straight to the plane.

Great historical city with lots of archaeological and colonial history to explore. Well-preserved Inca buildings. Very open and easy to navigate for tourists (sometimes too touristy but well). Easy to find a guide. You can get a baby alpaca to hold. Lots of arts and crafts, many good museums, lots of places to find food. Also, a lot of day trips available from Cusco.

We couldn’t decide between Urabamba and ollaytantambo, so glad we stayed he in urabamba. It’s much more of a local town, not built for tourists. Lovely restaurants and shops. We stayed here for 2 nights and then went to Ollaytantambo for a day and so glad we did it this way round! Ollaytantambo was full of tourists.

There are many levels of interest in Pisac: 1) Explore different indigenous spiritual traditions, as well as non- traditional. 2) Learn more about native Andean culture. 3)Access to mountains and Inka ruins. Pisac is very gentrified, with a subculture of diverse spiritual followers. There is an intimacy about the town, which I found most appealing, much better than the large metropolis of Cusco.

The most authentic experience in South America, after my visit to many countries in this continent, I do recommend visiting Cusco, it has the best vibe and people. Tourism is very professional, and people are very punctual and attentive. There are just too many street vendors; it can be a bit annoying.

Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu.

Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu. Plenty of hotels for every taste and budget. You could try to buy 1000 tickets to Machu Pichu from local Ministry of Culture. Every day they are selling 1000 extra tickets for next day. Whenever you arriving it's always good to check as Ministry is open until 22.00. Also you need to be in the cue 6.00 or earlier when you want to be sure for tickets.
