We loved that the Ecolodge was out of the city of Huaraz & that all we could hear was the sound of the river. We loved the room & the hammocks in the chill area in the garden. We also loved hanging out with the dogs, the cat & the chicken 😃. The breakfast was great & the family was super friendly & helpful. Walking us to the lodge in the dark & even coming with us into town at 4.30am to make sure we got the right bus for our hike to Laguna 69.

The staff were all fantastic-especially the women working the kitchen-meals were superb made with fresh grown crops from the green houses onsite. Wayne was a wealth of information and a pleasure to talk with after a day in the mountains. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The views from the hotel are amazing, you feel hugged by the mountains. I booked a short stay to relax before going to a conference. I also booked massages and Reiki. Truly a relaxing experience and I would definitely go back.
