Libertad Jungle Lodge se nachází v destinaci Yucuruche a nabízí terasu. My guide Larry met me at the airport and we travelled to the lodge. Although it was 3 hours time went fast watching the landscape go by. It was dry season for my visit so unfortunately the river way very low and the lodge was not on the river as per photographed on booking. I do wish this was explained. Otherwise i had an amazing 5 days. The accommodation was clean, the food was ok. It was different everyday but simple. My guide Larry was exceptional. His knowledge of the jungle, outstanding, and his English was perfect. We made a plan on arriving for what it would like to do in my time. Highlight was the caiman night tour and lily pads.

Jacamar Lodge Expeditions se nachází na břehu řeky Amazonky, uprostřed džungle a 120 km od centra města Iquitos. Je to rustikální hostel, který nabízí celou řadu aktivit v řece a džungli. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Lovely setting that felt safe but also connected to nature. You’ll automatically get signed up for excursions with a guide shared between you and anyone else who speaks your language that arrived that day. About 1 out of 3 excursions will be hiking and 2 out of 3 will be by boat. 4d3n was perfect, but the most exciting excursions were captured in the 3d2n plan, and if you stay longer you spend a night camping. Food is buffet style, and they accommodate dietary restrictions well. Maybe we lucked out but January was a great time to visit! Highly recommend this lodge!

Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.
