The hosts were more than lovely, helping out with everything: food, transport....The location is beautiful next to the river, where you can swim and chat (depending on your Spanish) with the local kids, the hammock on your private balcony is amazing, the dogs were sweet but most of all the host and owners were amazing, had a great day trip tour arranged by them too.

The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable.

With river views, Milía Amazon Lodge is set in Iquitos and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. A patio with garden views is offered in every unit. Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Objekt Libertad Jungle Lodge nalazi se u gradu 'Yucuruche' te sadrži terasu. Gosti objekta Libertad Jungle Lodge u okolici mogu uživati u ribolovu i vožnji kanuom ili se opustiti u vrtu. The staff are exceptional. My guide Joel came and picked me up from the airport and took me to the lodge in safety, which is approximately 2-3 hours travel. During my stay I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. The food was fresh and amazing every time with freshly made juices from local fruit in every meal. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms feature your own balcony with an incredible view. Regarding the facilities, the lodge is located on the river and is built with natural materials, so of course, expect to see insects. You are in the jungle after all! The mosquito nets do a really good job though, so I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Expect to hear wildlife noises from your room, although I quite enjoyed waking up with the sound of birds every day. The activities were super organised, and they offer a big variety for day and night experiences. All of them are wildlife experts, you get a personal guide, a personalised tour and a boat driver at all times. Don't forget to tip your guides! They will totally deserve it as well. They try their hardest to make your experience an amazing one! If you are crazy about wildlife, I recommend Joel. He could spot all sorts of animals from a distance, so I got to see a lot of different species. Both, with Wilson, the canoe driver, they had amazing coordination. I totally recommend the lodge and I would do it all over again. When you get there, you will see there are other lodges as well, which seemed to target tourists more, but not sure either. I am happy I chose this one and got to support their community!
