Beautiful grounds, such care taken in all the plants. The staff and owners are so lovely and helpful and everything was great!!! The pool is lovely, the food was delicious and just genuinely an amazing place to relax and enjoy the jungle. It was also my boyfriend’s birthday while there and they helped us celebrate it with some handmade gifts, decorations in the room and we also went picking fruits, planting coconut trees and fishing. Even bought him out some cake and sang - it was truly an amazing experience and great birthday for him. I’m so grateful for everything !

The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

The Jacamar Lodge Expeditions is located on the banks of the Amazon River, in the middle of the jungle and 120 km from downtown Iquitos. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable.

This lodge is located on the banks of the Amazon River in Yanamono's Communal Reserve, 80 km from Iquitos. It offers rustic accommodation and daily guided excursions into the Amazonian Jungle. Excellent communication and organisation (thanks Lizeth), friendly and professional staff. The tour includes pick up and drop off (from the airport or hotel) and transport to the lodge by boat. Great food and accommodation, very clean everywhere, exceptional facilities like pool and showers (which shouldn't be taken for granted in the jungle). Also great guides and tours, saw pink dolphins, monkeys, sloths, tarantulas, and many other animals and plants (e.g. victoria amazonica). Also stayed overnight in the Victoria Regia Hotel in Iquitos upon arrival. Can recommend, as the pickup for the boat is at 9, so there's plenty of time to enjoy the breakfast!
