The owners of kukama lodge were so accomadating. They helped with anything we asked or offered when we hadn’t even. The paintings Pablo has done around the place are stunning and they offer so much knowledge and stories about their kukama people. The place is a lovely rustic oasis to relax in. The locals around were also very lovely and cooked delicious food. Highly recommend this place, even if it a little far from Iquitos.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Best lodge to visit the Amazon from Iquitos. All inclusive and as described and the pictures show. Super friendly staff that make you feel at home right from the start. Couldn’t recommend more.

Apresentando um terraço, Libertad Jungle Lodge apresenta acomodações em Yucuruche. It was great because we had one tour guide (Miguel) taking care of us the entire time. From pick up to drop off and we had so many great outings and adventures thanks to him ! I can really recommend this lodge.
