The whole family has welcomed us warmly and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was big and very delicious! The owner took time to tell us about their habits, life and floating islands. What is more they arranged a free transfer to the island for us as well. We will have the best memories of the family and this place. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful place runned by the most beautiful and nicest people on the floating islands ! It was great adventure to visit Winston, Elizabeth, their kids and lovely dog Kira! Very good accommodation! A lot of place inside the house and resting areas outside! Great food and really really big portions! Wine and beer available if you ask the hosts. So you will not be hungry and thirsty for sure. Winston was arranging the transports for us , also the trips for Uris and taquile islands. We want to recommend this place for everyone who is wondering about staying on titikaka lake

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

Walter and his family's lodge is one of the best places to live comfortably and observe the real life of the Uros people. I was worried that it would be cold. but the living conditions pleasantly surprised me - hot water, a large bed with duvets, huge windows through which the sun heats the room during the day and gas heaters for the evening. Walter's mother cooked delicious, fresh and healthy food for us. Walter took us on a boat ride every day and helped organize all the excursions. To work online, we needed the Internet, and in this part of the lake the mobile signal is strong enough to work. Because on the islands that are farther from the coast, the Internet connection is weak. Great experience!

Amalia Titicaca Lodge in Puno biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de stad, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met douche en gratis toiletartikelen. An amazing unique experience, would definitely recommend! It was super cool to stay so close to nature, yet in a really comfortable conditions. The hotel staff was super nice to us and even organized a private tour of the Uros island for no extra charge! Keep in mind that the meeting point with boat is not the main port of Puno, but a smaller Kalapajra port. Be sure to text them in advance to confirm the meeting point and arrival time for the boat to pick you up without delays.

De Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru ligt in Puno en biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op het meer. Het ontbijt is elke dag inbegrepen. Super mooie locatie en een heel vriendelijke familie. Het avondeten en ontbijt hebben enorm gesmaakt ( niet in de prijs inbegrepen ). De tour was ook heel leerrijk. Een absolute aanrader als je bereid bent je dagdagelijkse luxe even aan de kant te schuiven en te genieten van moeder natuur.

This was hands down one of the nicest experiences I've ever had. Felix is such an amazing, kind, generous, hospitable, helpful and caring owner, who treated us like a family. He shared so much incredible knowledge that helped us to understand the local culture, history and community. He helped us to book a tour through the lake and offered us a delicious dinner and breakfast. It was indeed a bit colder at night but we received bottles of hot water that kept us warm through the night but just pack one extra sweater and you'll be fine. Also, the hot water is running in the shower without any trouble. The place is incredibly calm, quiet and peaceful. I literally have no regrets deciding for this amazing experience.
