The owner took time to tell us about their habits, life and floating islands. What is more they arranged a free transfer to the island for us as well. We will have the best memories of the family and this place. I highly recommend it!

Amazing room at Titicaca Lake at sea level 4000 meters. Uf, very peaceful and quiet, amazing sunset. But, very cold during the night. You can have a gas heater all night but we switched it off and it was really cold during the night and morning. Just to know before where you go. But the place and the breakfast was amazing.

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

First of all, we did a long research on choosing the right stay at the Uros community. There is so many places that don’t belong to real Uros anymore. Walter and his family are amazing hosts. He build the island with his dad. For us he took care of everything. Special food requests, pick up from the train station and also transfer to the airport. His transfer services have a really fair price. The boat pick up, and a tour on a traditional boat are included. The communication with Walter works really good. Ge also speaks some English. We had really hot water and were able to use the heater inside the room whenever we wanted. Everything is very clean and neat. With Walter and his family you will have one of the greatest experiences at the Uros community!

Vip Flotante bevindt zich op 4,6 km van Estadio Enrique Torres Belon en biedt accommodaties met een patio. Once in a lifetime experience! Leonardo, Lina and their children welcomed us into their home and showed us how they live. They arranged all transport for us and we had a great communication via WhatsApp. They showed us around the islands, made us delicious breakfast and dinner, explained about their community and answered all our curious questions. The houses are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the view is truly spectacular. Thank you once again for the hospitality, it was great meeting you!

An amazing unique experience, would definitely recommend! It was super cool to stay so close to nature, yet in a really comfortable conditions. The hotel staff was super nice to us and even organized a private tour of the Uros island for no extra charge! Keep in mind that the meeting point with boat is not the main port of Puno, but a smaller Kalapajra port. Be sure to text them in advance to confirm the meeting point and arrival time for the boat to pick you up without delays.

Het avondeten en ontbijt hebben enorm gesmaakt ( niet in de prijs inbegrepen ). De tour was ook heel leerrijk. Een absolute aanrader als je bereid bent je dagdagelijkse luxe even aan de kant te schuiven en te genieten van moeder natuur.
