Eco Surflodge Azores is truly a gem.. I would even call it a boutique hostel. The interior is tastefully designed, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in ♥️ I stayed in the shared dormitory and was genuinely impressed. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality linens, duvets, and even two pillows (a rare luxury in hostels!). The privacy curtains around each bed created a real sense of personal space and quiet, something every traveler appreciates. The bathrooms were just as delightful: beautifully maintained and aesthetically pleasing. That said, I would kindly suggest that fellow guests take a little more care to keep the shared areas tidy, especially during busy hours - it would make the space even more enjoyable for everyone. If I may propose two small improvements: it would be very helpful to have a few hooks in the dorm room for jackets or coats, as well as inside the shower cabins for towels or clothing. These little practical touches can go a long way ☺️ Now, the breakfast deserves its own praise - generous, varied, beautifully presented, and with plenty of options for vegetarians. Quite honestly, many hotels would be proud to offer a breakfast of this quality! My only suggestion, as someone who has both traveled extensively and previously run a hostel myself, would be to consider extending the breakfast serving time slightly. With only one hour available, it can get a little crowded, and it’s a shame not to be able to fully enjoy such a lovely meal in a relaxed setting. The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. In short: a truly wonderful place - full of thoughtful details and a warm, stylish atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Set in Horta, Quinta da Maria offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The property has mountain and garden views. I loved everything about my stay. Lucia and her husband are the sweetest people ever with the biggest hearts. Lucia shared a wealth of information regarding the island, the history, and the wonderful shops and restaurants in town. I had eggs from their chickens, the best honey ever from their bees, fresh bread daily, various fruits from their garden, and so much more. The house is so beautiful, comfy, and cozy.. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hike and explore the countryside as I planned because of the extensive rain, so I was so glad I was in a place I truly enjoyed being. I wish I had booked more days there but will definitely return.

A Perfect Stay with Breathtaking Ocean Views! I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Boca Negra apartment! The view of the ocean was simply breathtaking—waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was an unforgettable experience. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, spotless, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What made my visit even more special was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. They were always ready to help (laudry we asked for the last-minute smells like heaven 😍 ) I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning views and exceptional service. I would love to return!

Right next to Sete Cidades Lagoon, in the São Miguel Island of Azores, the Sete Cidades Lake Lodge features wooden bungalows with a unique architecture. Free WiFi access is available. A very pleasant and unusual stay. A beautiful villa, a garden nearby, and of course a magnificent lake. We rented bicycles to ride around, and in the evening we lit the fireplace — we really loved it! Peace and quiet all around. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Situated in Piedade in the Pico island region, Adega do capitao has a garden. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We stayed 9 nights in this nice chalet. The hosts were very helpful with everything. It was very impressing to sit outside the bedroom door and enjoy the marvellous view to the ocean and the island Sao George in the distance.

It was easy to get into contact with them fast responses and there to help you with anything! You have everything you need for a vacation even a safe for your personal items. They left a welcome basket on the table which was sweet!

He pays attention to every detail and is always around in case you have any questions or also for a good chat about all the amazing things you can do on Pico. The location might not be super central, but it comes with the most beautiful surroundings just next to the vineyards! so totally worth it.

Located in Nordeste and only 29 km from Pico do Ferro, Vento do Nordeste - Cottage with Jacuzzi provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was our first time visiting San Miguel. We rented Tania's house for a week. There was everything we needed. Tania is an amazing host who contacted me in advance and provided all the information. I highly recommend this house to everyone who is looking for a calm and charming place to stay.
