Inner peace is just a few clicks away with this cabin - sadly we only booked an overnight stop on a 30 day itinerary, but in hindsight I would have been happy staying here the entire month. The beds are very comfortable and really “shield” you from the outside, it’s a homely feeling, just way better.

The apartment is clean and has everything you need and more. Communication with the host was smooth and nice. We also saw wild animals from the terrace and screen. Wild Lodge lives up to its name 😁 Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Solhem. Cozy with old wooden floors, beautiful details and two fireplaces. It really had everything we wanted and the beds were comfortable! The house is located in a residential area without major roads. It was a huge garden. We also liked that there were a new induction hob, stove, fridge and freezer in the kitchen even though it was an old charming interior. There was fast wi-fi and the tv was new, and there was chromecast so we could watch our usual channels. For us who live in an apartment in the city, it is absolutely wonderful to stay in such a charming house and have the large garden. The little beach by the lake was really beautiful and calm and the kids can go there by themselves this summer when we get back.

The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well taken care of. This is a rare find, where the owners seem to take genuine pleasure in making the property and experience exceptional. The property is next to ancient stone moments and nature trails.

We stayed for 6 nights and would have happily stayed longer. It is in a beautiful secluded coastal area with a lovely view, and was spectacularly well equipped with everything we needed. It was warm and comfortable, and we also enjoyed splitting wood for the antique heating stove (although there is electric heating as well). The cottage was so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and as we checked in over Easter weekend the hosts had made some really special Easter touches for us, which we loved!! It is in a great location with a supermarket under 10mins drive away, and close to multiple nature reserves for hiking (there is one 15 mins drive away!) - we picked it as we were in Sweden for a hiking holiday. The hosts were wonderful, welcoming, and really helpful and responsive as well. Staying here absolutely made our holiday, so thank you!!! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

It lived up to expectations and above. Cooking space was limited but all facilities and who wants to cook a three course meal on holiday! The section of garden for use by the studio is pretty, set within a well manicured, interesting garden. The owner was helpful, friendly but unobtrusive. The island is beautiful. We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay
