Only obligation we had that Oeland is so far from were we live, that coming again is a new trip for itself! Enjoyed everything especially hospitality very much!! It's a nice little island and the owners are all time available to help if needed. Enjoyed boat trips and the nature. House was clean and well maintained. Kids can explore and play in the woods.

We recommend hiking at the Naturreservat Åsvikelandet and Torrö. Fishing was as is usual a little difficult in July, but when i found the fish i was catching giant perch. Gärdsholmens is about 30 minutes to walk around. One side has a farm and the other is amazing views. A must is a sunset viewing by good weather. Next to the barn is the biggest oak tree i have ever seen. We have recommended to friends.

The breakfast was quite small but suited us well. The floating cabin was great - comfy and fun. It was great to get up in the night when it was raining and swim off the cabin in the warm water. The whole place had a kind of charm...a bit nostalgic. Great location. Very friendly staff, nice cafe.
