Property was made accessible despite there being snow on the ground. The host came to greet us and ask if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was warm and had lots of windows to let in natural light. The bed was comfortable and the blankets & quilt made for a warm stay. There were good storage facilities and cooking facilities if you wanted to stay for a long trip. The local community and surrounding environment also helped make for a perfect location.

Överkalix Kalixalven Lodge Jockfall is a recently renovated holiday home in Jock, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. I stayed at the Överkalix Kalixälven Lodge in Jockfall for one night and was very satisfied with the experience. The house is a typical Swedish-style home — charming and well maintained, with a clean and cozy interior. The fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were very convenient, even for a short stay. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning, and the outdoor amenities like the terrace, balcony, and garden really added to the charm. I appreciated the peaceful setting and the easy access to outdoor activities. The check-in was smooth, the WiFi worked perfectly, and the free parking was a big plus. I only wish I could have stayed longer — highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of northern Sweden!

Northernlight cabin 2 is set in Kiruna, 22 km from LKAB Visitor Centre, 36 km from Esrange Space Center, and 20 km from Kiruna Folkets Hus. Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

Set in Vittangi in the Norrbotten region, Lapland Snow Moose offers accommodation with free private parking. Cecilia and Rickhard were amazing hosts with great attention to detail. The cabins are cosy, clean, and surrounded by incredible nature. We didn't have time to use the sauna this time, but hopefully, we'll return one day.
