Host and whole staff could not have been more courteous, really made me felt welcome even though I speak no Chinese. Food served on the property was truly exceptional, still thinking about the breakfast and dinner dishes. Room was spotless and bed super comfortable. Interesting art pieces made by the owner surround the property. Must stay if you visit the area, an unforgettable mountain house.

Situated in Meishan in the Chiayi County region and Meishan Taiping Old Street reachable within 20 km, 朵麗絲森林 features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful – on our first evening they even came to pick us up when we got lost, which already showed how much they care about their guests. The service throughout our stay was absolutely excellent. Both manor houses were stunning, with breathtaking views all around. In the mornings we were greeted by funny little grasshoppers, as if they were wishing us good morning, and our daughter especially loved spending time with the sweet cats. It’s a place filled with warmth, charm, and genuine hospitality. We can’t recommend it enough – a true gem!
