Host and whole staff could not have been more courteous, really made me felt welcome even though I speak no Chinese. Food served on the property was truly exceptional, still thinking about the breakfast and dinner dishes. Room was spotless and bed super comfortable. Interesting art pieces made by the owner surround the property. Must stay if you visit the area, an unforgettable mountain house.

The hotel staff speaks good english and can help you with bus schedules, organise a shuttle service for you and other things. The hotel has a specific charm that feels oldschool and reminded me a bit of the past.

Very nice place within walking distance of all trails in the village. The room in wooden materials was very comfy and relaxing (get a room with a window or balcony if you can. It's worth it) The lady managing was very nice.

We were looking for a quieter alternative to Alishan and this was perfect! The area had beautiful hikes and we were able to have them basically to ourselves. The cabin was super cozy and it was a lovely place to relax for a few days. The owners are very friendly and the food was great too! We took the bus from Chiayi one direction and a taxi the other way, so you have options depending on your budget. Definitely recommend

Amazing view, amazing hosts who really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, amazing location but might need to walk 20 mins uphill. The hosts provide free shuttle down to the Main Street if they are available. The breakfast is delicious. The room is spacious and comfortable. Spacious shower. Owners also sell tea and provide tea tastings!

Lovely hotel. Charming Japanese-inspired bedrooms. Love the little wooden bathtub. Thank you for the free cypress bath. However, my arms were bitten by wood bugs or termites when I rested them on the wooden bathtub. Otherwise, a really lovely stay. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Great hospitality. Highly recommended. Bento with metal lunchbox is unique and memorable.
