The room was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-designed. From the second we arrived, we truly felt at home. The highlight of our trip was definitely the hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Not only did they give us great local restaurant recommendations, but they also took us for a tea tasting and a visit to a local temple. It was such a unique and wonderful experience! We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Highly recommended!

Situated a few steps from Chaikou Beach, 柴口岸 Chaikuo Waterfront offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The lodge features a terrace. - The tent was lovely and comfortable - actually, way better than some „proper“ hotel rooms. - Laaaarge! Even my 1,93m tall partner was able to stand in the tent - Super clean and top-notch - Large and clean shared bathroom facilities, for us it was no problem at all, and we usually try to avoid shared facilities. Showers have extra space for changing! - Super friendly and well English speaking staff - Nice terrace - Free coffee / tea / water and fridge opportunity

Located just 5.2 km from Taitung Night Market, Taitung Garden Cabin features accommodation in Taitung City with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as luggage storage space. I liked everything here. Large spacious room with a spacious private bathroom. Excellent hot shower. Both Aircon and a fan. Fridge and kettle in the room. Towels, drinking water and toilet paper supplied, but no soap and shampoo, and that's fine for me. Rooms are set around a really beautiful manicured garden. The rooms are old, but that's perfectly fine. Everything was clean. I really liked that the reception is staffed 24h. Zero fuss and overflowing inboxes with messages regarding this and that, just simply book, arrive when you arrive and pay. I was also lucky to get my room early, as it wasn't busy. Very friendly and welcoming staff, but not much English is spoken. There is a vending machine for cold drinks in the lobby. There's also an outdoor sitting area with tables and chairs, under a canopy in the parking lot...but it IS an outdoor sitting area, you don't find that too often in Taiwan.
